Michigan Football Stadium Adds More Seats
The University of Michigan's football stadium is known as the "Big House." Well, the "Big House" just got bigger. The stadium just increased the seating by 2,000 so that it now sits 109,901 fans. More importantly, it reclaims the first spot over Penn State University for the most seating in college football. The added seats were part of a $226 million renovation, that included luxury boxes and club seats in towering structures. The University of Michigan Wolverine football team is looking to rebound this season after 2 losing seasons. Head coach Rich Rodriguez will be under heavy scrutiny if they don't perform. Athletic Director Dave Brandon stated, "We're already looking for future expansion." The "Big House" may get even bigger.
