Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina are all investigating allegations involving improper contact with an agent. The topic of discussion is if some collegiate players attended a party in Miami, Florida for a particular agent. If so, the players and programs could be facing some major sanctions. This is all occurring at the same time former Florida Gator Maurkice Pouncey received $100,000 from a sports agent's representative between the SEC championship game and the Sugar Bowl. Pouncey was drafted in the 1st round in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Alabama head coach Nick Saban compared agents to pimps, stating that its greed that creates this behavior.
