Vikings Packer Game
The Vikings Packer game this weekend is going to be fantastic. I haven't been to a Vikings game yet this year so I'm really looking forward to it! Especially the fact that it's the VIKING PACKER game! Although the Vikings won't be on the top of their game, like usual, any day is great for a Vikings game.

Up Next: Spring Semester
It seems like I was just registering for my Fall semester at St. Thomas but here we are it's that time again. Spring registration time! I register for classes on November 19th but I'm so prepared that I worked on planning my schedule last night. It's going to be tough but it's possible to squeeze in one Spanish class and three Communication and Journalism, and a few hours of work. And don't forget, I still have my J-term class to look forward to in Italy. Busy times, busy times, but it's going to be fun to look forward!

Zombie Pub Crawl Weekend was a HIT
Hey readers! Here's another weekend update from your Ticket King intern. Zombie Pub Crawl was super fun. I usually don't like blood and guts but my wonderful sister did my hair and make up, take a peek at the pictures I put below! My friends and I went to the Ying Yang Twins and Bubba Sparks concert and then hit a bunch of bars around the Minneapolis area. This was totally something out of my comfort zone (because I've been trying to say YES to everything) but it was a fantastic, Zombie time.

Zombie Pub Crawl Weekend
I'm so excited for another great weekend! Since this is my first fall being 21, I'm excited to finally participate in Zombie Pub Crawl. I'm forcing my sister to do me and my friends hair and makeup and wearing these awesome overalls to look like a farmer? Who knows. But I'm still excited to dress up and have this pre-Halloween party in Minneapolis. Check my blog next week to see pictures, of course!

The Government Shut Down IS Impacting Me
I honestly didn't think the whole government shut down would impact me in one bit. I know it isn't going to last (my Dad says longer than a week) but I'm little worried.
So, to recap, I'm going to Italy in January and this is the first time I've been out of the country (besides Canada). I was waiting until my parents said FOR SURE about studying abroad; so I wouldn't have to waste money on a passport, and maybe wait until they offered to pay for it. Well they didn't offer to pay for it so I finally got my butt down to the Post Office yesterday to get the paper work in. I had everything ready: two copies of my drivers liscense, a recent picture from St. Thomas, my birth certificate, a bunch of paper work and a check for $130.
The lady helping me was very efficient and quick. At the end, however, she mentioned at the end that although she would be sending all this in, it wouldn't get processed until the government started back up again.
WHAT WHAT COME AGAIN?! So I guess it's my own fault. I should have gotten my passport this summer. But, everyone send me some positive thoughts that the government will get back to work next week so I can get my passport processed and get to ITALYYYY!
