Adrian Peterson No. 8 on Players Poll

Our very own AP was the highest-ranked back among the most-represented offensive position in the year's NFL Top 100 players poll.

The honor comes after a season in which he didn't quite reach the 1000-yard mark for the first time in his five-year career. Peterson was limited to 12 games in the 2011-12 season.

Peterson was ranked No. 3 in the poll last year.

 Known for his unwavering and intense work ethic, Peterson is on pace to return for the 2012 season opener on September 9 after knee surgery in December. Congratulations to Adrian Peterson! Way to represent the Minnesota Vikings in a positive light!
