College Basketball Score Update

Another great weekend in college basketball. There weren’t a lot of upsets this weekend with the usuals Kansas, Kansas State, Purdue, Texas and Tennessee all winning their games, but here are the scores that I think you should know about.

2 Kentucky 58 (26-1, 11-1 SEC)
19Vanderbilt 56 (20-6, 9-3 SEC)

HOLY DEFENSE – I could hardly believe the score – this is Division 1, right? Wish I could have been there – even though, I prefer a higher scoring game – I love the magic of the three.

22Baylor 75 (20-6, 7-5 Big 12)
Oklahoma St 82 (19-7, 7-5 Big 12)

It seems just when I get behind a team – I have been huge into Baylor this year – they take a nose dive. Oklahoma State is pretty good, but Baylor has been terrible lately.

25Wake Forest 54 (18-7, 8-5 ACC)
N Carolina St 68 (15-13, 3-10 ACC)

This is Saturday’s lone upset I would say and it’s a shockers. I would have never thought NC State Wolfpack could take out ACC rival Wake Forest, it must have been the luck of the Wolfpack home court and those loyal NC State fans.

3 Villanova 65 (22-4, 11-3 Big East)
21 Pittsburgh 70 (21-6, 10-4 Big East)

Finally Pitt looked like the team I thought they were! The Pitt Panthers started out strong this year and then sort of fell apart, they looked good on Sunday, I hope they can keep it up – I think they deserve to be higher than 21st in the standings.

Remember if you ever want to go to a live college basketball game instead of just reading about the games online you should call Ticket King or check out Ticket King Online.com for your ticket needs – we have CHEAP college basketball tickets and there is nothing better than seeing the game live . . . reading about games online doesn’t even come close to comparison – trust me, I know.

College Basketball Score Updates Again

It was another great weekend to be a college basketball fan unless you were a Gopher Basketball fan (like me!) – what is wrong with them? Losing to Northwestern in overtime was absolutely pathetic.
Listing the scores of my favorite weekend games is quickly becoming my favorite Monday activity. If you missed the games or sports center highlights, here is what you need to know:

Iowa St 59 (13-12, 2-8 Big 12)
1 Kansas 73 (24-1, 10-0 Big 12)

Kansas cruises past Iowa State and they aren’t looking back!
_________________________________________
12 Tennessee 62 (18-6, 6-4 SEC)
2 Kentucky 73 (24-1, 9-1 SEC)

Kentucky is the real deal. Tennessee was tough, but the Wildcats were tougher.
_______________________________________
10Michigan St 65 (20-6, 10-3 Big Ten)
Penn St 54 (8-16, 0-12 Big Ten)

I think it’s time for Penn State to get a new coach. 0-12 in the Big Ten, really?!
_________________________________________
20Georgia Tech 64 (17-8, 5-6 ACC)
Wake Forest 75 (18-5, 8-3 ACC)

What is happening to Georgia Tech? They are in a definite slump.
_________________________________________
Missouri 62 (18-7, 6-4 Big 12)
Baylor 64 (19-5, 6-4 Big 12)

One of the super close games in the Big 12 this weekend – last second basket sealed the deal for Baylor.
________________________________________
Texas A&M 67 (18-6, 7-3 Big 12)
Texas Tech 65 (16-8, 4-6 Big 12)

Another close one.
_________________________________________
8Georgetown 68 (18-6, 8-5 Big East)
Rutgers 71 (13-12, 3-9 Big East)

Huge upset, but I personally think Gerogetown is a little overrated. They should be more like No. 15 than No. 8.

There are only a few games left before March Madness begins, but if feels like it is already March Madness in my heart. I LOVE COLLEGE BASKETBALL!

College Basketball Score Updates

It was another great weekend to be a college basketball fan. If you missed the games or sports center highlights, here are my most noteworthy college basketball games and scores from Saturday:

24Baylor Bears 71 (17-5, 4-4 Big 12)
Texas Aggies 78 (17-6, 6-3 Big 12)
Aggies kept Baylor at bay and remain a strong Big 12 contender...well second to Kansas anyway.
________________________________________
Nebraska 64 (13-10, 1-7 Big 12)
1Kansas 75 (22-1, 8-0 Big 12)
There were a few predictable games this weekend,
including this one, Kansas just rolled over Nebraska.
_________________________________________
Alabama 67 (13-10, 3-6 SEC)
Mississippi 74 (17-6, 5-4 SEC)
Ole Miss comes away easy with this one.
_________________________________________
2Villanova 90 (20-2, 9-1 Big East)
8Georgetown 103 (17-5, 7-4 Big East)
I wouldn’t have predicted this, but you should never underestimate those Hoyas at home!
_________________________________________
10Texas 71 (19-4, 5-3 Big 12)
Oklahoma 80 (13-9, 4-4 Big 12)
Texas Longhorns basketball is close to self-destruction mode. Beware.
_________________________________________
5Michigan St 73 (19-5, 9-2 Big Ten)
Illinois 78 (16-8, 8-3 Big Ten)
Illinois upsets Michigan State Spartans, but really Illinois is HOT right now and at home, it was less of an upset than sports writers claim.
