College Basketball Tournament Time

It is college basketball tourney time and Ticket King has the tickets you want to all of the big college basketball tournaments across the nation. On my radar is the Big East Championship Round One going on today in New York. Tomorrow is the Big 12 Championship first round at Kansas City. I follow a lot of Big 12 teams so I am excited to see how this tournament turns out. If you need tickets to any college basketball tournament games, Ticket King can hook you up!

I love this time of year! Some day I am going to travel to college basketball tournaments across the nation - it would be so fun! There is something about college basketball that fascinates me, I like it way more than professional NBA basketball, and I mean waaaaaay more!

Keep an eye on Sports Center tonight for all the updates..unless of course you bought tickets from Ticket King and you are actually at the games!

Gopher Basketball Emotional Mess

The Gopher basketball team has me in emotional chaos. The Purdue loss was devastating, I really think they could have pulled it off, but it was just too little too late. Then to bounce back and beat Indiana was stellar, but to be embarrassed by Michigan was too much for most Gopher basketball fans to handle. This Gopher Basketball Tickets site has it right, the Gopher basketball team is on a rollercoaster and most fans want off - NOW! I will stick it out one more regular season game, though - I am hoping for a big regular season finale when the Iowa Hawkeyes come to town on Sunday. If you need Gopher Basketball Tickets, Ticket King is the best place. We are a local hometown ticket company and HUGE Gophers fans. We will be open until 6pm today (just in case you want to go to the Timberwolves game) so CALL US and order some Gopher Basketball tickets - it's "Seniors Night" so it will be sad to say good-bye to the Gopher basketball seniors, especially Lawrence Westbrook - we will miss him!

Gopher vs Purdue – Hottest Game in Twin Cities

Hottest thing on TV tonight? Gophers Basketball vs. No. 3 ranked Purdue!!! I have parent teacher conferences so I will miss the official tip-off at 7:30pm (plus I had to pass up the chance to go the game tonight!), but I will be watching intently from the sofa as soon as I get home.

Ticket King had a few Gopher Purdue Tickets left this morning and sold all but 2 of them by 3pm today! College basketball fans in Minnesota are hyped up about this game (woot!). The Gophers basketball team has been playing extremely well at Williams Arena lately, but this will be the first time in a long time that the Gophers have hosted a top 5 ranked team. I hope the Gophers come out strong and sink some quick baskets and keep the fans in the game. My heart says the Gophers have the ability to beat Purdue, but my head says to simply hope that the Gophers keep the score close.

Go Gophers!

I will be wearing my maroon and gold and cheering my heart our (after parent teacher conferences). My favorite stat that I have been sharing with every one visiting the Ticket King office today: The Gophers have outscored opponents by an average of 20.8 points at Williams Arena - and don't you forget it!

Kansas Stays at No.1 – Big 12 basketball title clinched

I knew there was no way Oklahoma was going to upset Kansas last night and boy was I right. Kansas Jayhawks were on fire! At one point the Jayhawks had a 17-point lead in the first half and I think the final shooting percentage was 51 – that’s good stuff. You know what else amazes me? Xavier Henry is just a freshman – he rocks and he led all scorers with 23 points last night. Wish I could have been there in person to see it unfold, plus the ESPN announcers were getting annoying.

Oklahoma 68 (13-14, 4-9 Big 12)
1Kansas 81 (27-1, 13-0 Big 12)

Kansas clinches Big 12 Title. Congrats. Kansas Jayhawks will DEFINITELY be in my Final Four.

ESPN Game Alert: Oklahoma at No. Kansas Jayhawks TONIGHT

Does anyone think Oklahoma has the ability to upset No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks tonight? I don’t. Once again, I am wishing that I was at Allen Fieldhouse instead of at home on the couch watching ESPN. I know where I can get the game tickets (Ticket King!), now I just need to find a pilot to get me there in time.

Oklahoma (13-13, 4-8 Big 12) vs. Kansas (26-1, 12-0 Big 12)
ESPN 8PM CT

Stay Tuned.

College Basketball Score Update

Another great weekend in college basketball. There weren’t a lot of upsets this weekend with the usuals Kansas, Kansas State, Purdue, Texas and Tennessee all winning their games, but here are the scores that I think you should know about.

2 Kentucky 58 (26-1, 11-1 SEC)
19Vanderbilt 56 (20-6, 9-3 SEC)

HOLY DEFENSE – I could hardly believe the score – this is Division 1, right? Wish I could have been there – even though, I prefer a higher scoring game – I love the magic of the three.

22Baylor 75 (20-6, 7-5 Big 12)
Oklahoma St 82 (19-7, 7-5 Big 12)

It seems just when I get behind a team – I have been huge into Baylor this year – they take a nose dive. Oklahoma State is pretty good, but Baylor has been terrible lately.
________________________________________
25Wake Forest 54 (18-7, 8-5 ACC)
N Carolina St 68 (15-13, 3-10 ACC)

This is Saturday’s lone upset I would say and it’s a shockers. I would have never thought NC State Wolfpack could take out ACC rival Wake Forest, it must have been the luck of the Wolfpack home court and those loyal NC State fans.

3 Villanova 65 (22-4, 11-3 Big East)
21 Pittsburgh 70 (21-6, 10-4 Big East)

Finally Pitt looked like the team I thought they were! The Pitt Panthers started out strong this year and then sort of fell apart, they looked good on Sunday, I hope they can keep it up – I think they deserve to be higher than 21st in the standings.

Remember if you ever want to go to a live college basketball game instead of just reading about the games online you should call Ticket King or check out Ticket King Online.com for your ticket needs – we have CHEAP college basketball tickets and there is nothing better than seeing the game live . . . reading about games online doesn’t even come close to comparison – trust me, I know.
